Discover all the Buddhism flags within our category dedicated to the flags of the major religions of the world. The Buddhist flag is one of the symbols of the Buddhist religion, one of the great religions of the world. Adopted by the World Federation of Buddhism in the 1950s, the Buddhist flag is a multicolored flag made up of vertical bands on the left and horizontal on the right of 5 colors (blue, light yellow, red, white and orange). Symbolically, the 5 colors of the flag represent the 5 colors of the Buddha's aura at the time of his awakening. They also evoke the important spiritual values of Buddhist practice.
