Three habits to keep.
Choosing and caring for your flag depends on how you use it: indoors, occasionally outside or installed outdoors.
Clean gently.
Do not let dirt build up. Identify the material and check the care label before washing.
Store completely dry.
Allow the flag to dry fully. Check the seams and fixings before and after use.

100D polyester
For events, exhibitions and ceremonies. Avoid prolonged exposure to bad weather and intense UV light.
Wash
Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C with a mild detergent containing no bleaching agents.
Dry
Air dry, preferably unfolded.
Iron
If the label permits, iron on the reverse at a very low temperature.
Store
Store the flag clean and completely dry, rolled or neatly folded.
Air drying is recommended. Tumble dry on a low-heat delicate setting only if the label permits. Flags with non-detachable poles or rings should be air dried. The product’s care instructions take priority over this general guide.
75D & lightweight polyester
For indoor decoration, events and ceremonies. Avoid bad weather and prolonged exposure to intense UV light.

Non-detachable pole or rings
A non-detachable pole or rings require a cleaning method suitable for the whole product.
Wash
Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not put the complete assembly in a washing machine.
Dry
Wipe the pole with a clean cloth and allow the fabric to air dry.
Iron
Iron the fabric only, on the reverse at a very low temperature, if the label permits.
Store
Allow the whole assembly to dry completely and store in a dry place.

03 / Finishing touches
Care for your
poles and fittings too.
A well-maintained installation starts with checking the fixings and cleaning each material appropriately.
Metal eyelets
Clean with a damp cloth and a mild cleaning product if needed. Dry after cleaning. Check regularly for signs of corrosion.
Plastic poles & supports
Clean with lukewarm water and mild soap, then dry with a clean cloth. Avoid solvents, abrasives and prolonged exposure to intense sunlight.
Wooden poles
Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh products, rain and prolonged exposure to moisture. Dry immediately if the wood gets wet. For outdoor protection, choose an oil or varnish suitable for the existing finish.
Aluminium supports
Clean with a soft cloth and soapy water, without abrasives. Dry after cleaning and check the fixings regularly.

The flag and its packaging are not toys. For decorative use only. The flag is not suitable for children under 3 years old. Keep the packaging out of children’s reach.
Plastic bags
Suffocation hazard: keep bags away from babies and children. Do not use them in cots, beds, pushchairs or playpens.

Can I leave my flag outside all year round?
It depends on the material and the intended use of the product. A flag designed for indoor or occasional outdoor use is not intended for permanent exposure. In all cases, bring it indoors during strong winds, heavy rain or extreme weather.

Check the label, the packaging or the product page for your order. If you are unsure, contact us with the product reference before washing it.
How can I reduce creases during storage?
Let the flag dry completely, then roll it or fold it neatly. If ironing is needed, follow the instructions for its material and care label.
